Pat McGrath and The Metropolitan Museum of Art are joining forces for an exclusive retail collaboration. Timed with the opening of The Costume Institute’s spring 2018 exhibition, Pat McGrath Labs x The Met will offer a range of color cosmetics and apparel, making McGrath’s the first beauty brand to be sold at the museum.

Since the 2015 launch of her first branded color item, Gold 001, McGrath has released lip kits, eye kits and matte lipsticks. In September she unveiled a core collection — a permanent range of color cosmetics that includes lipsticks, lip liners, eyeliners, a mascara and eyeshadow palettes. Last month the makeup artist revealed that she’s expanding the core collection by adding 14 shades of lip gloss, the first of which will make its debut via her collaboration with The Met.
